Milwaukee where he was sent by his post to attend the national encampment. He reports a thrilling national meeting at tended by 25,000 delegates and 100,000 spectators. The encamp ment presented to Cardinal Spell man the Bernard Baruch award for outstanding service to humani ty. Award was presented by Baruch in person. Vice President Richard Nixon made the chief address. The million dollar drum parade was a colorful event and lasted for five hours and was viewed by 100,000 people. Enroute home Commander Mottsman visit ed the VFW home for widows and orphans at Eaton Rapids, Mich. Mountain Manor Hotel, Saluda, N. C. OPEN ALL YEAR.
